Coating
Coating refers to the process of applying a clear coating to one or both sides of a printed piece.
- May be applied for functional purposes, such as scratch and rub protection
- May be applied for decorative purposes, as glossy or matte finish
- May be applied as a decorative pattern over the printed piece
Our Roland 700 6-color presses have inline coaters that apply the coating inline during the printing process. This saves time and ultimately cost to the client.
